Betty somehow finds herself role-playing Chloe, the pathetic female lead of a cliché CEO web novel she recently read, in a game. As the game has a mechanism that restarts every time she fails to complete a story quest, she has failed several times due to their completely different characteristics. Just when she is about to restart again, she realizes that Quentin, a non-playing character, will restart along with her as well. In order to finish the game, these two decide to team up.
