In a world plagued by monsters swarming through portals from other dimensions, a brave group of soldiers called Clarus Orbis battles the otherworldly threat. Unfortunately, when you're an average grunt like Chaeun, survival becomes a daily ordeal, especially under the reckless leadership of his sexually arrogant commander Gayoon. Abandoned on the battlefield by the handsome Gayoon, Chaeun desperately fights off an endless bug onslaught only to be rescued by the mysterious renegade leader Moonhoo. At first, the man playfully flirts with Chaeun, but slowly the realization dawns that Moonhoo and his Core Hunter group have insidious ambitions on the dimensional portals. And only Chaeun and his hot-tempered leader Gayoon stand in their way. (Source: NETCOMICS)

At the center of story is a teenaged girl who has been in a coma since the age of nine, when she was found with her dead parents. The mother had apparently killed the father, and then killed herself. And the girl, Aoba, was found to have her dead parents' hearts in her stomach. The core mystery, of course, is why this girl ate her parents' hearts, but there are plenty of other mysteries to chew on. Why does the presumably imaginary dreamworld—Barbara—that Aoba now inhabits seem to affect the real world, and what is her connection to the boy, Kiriya, who she has never met and who shares her dreams of Barbara? And what does this have to do with a mysterious scientist looking for the secret to eternal youth, or, for that matter, with a long extinct race of Martians? (Source: MU)

Welcome to the future. In tried-and-true sci-fi fashion, the date is given in a time system that we have no reference for, so I can't tell you how far into the future we are beyond saying that it is S.E. 156. Thirty years before our story begins, an ace space pilot by the name of M2 Rimstein was put into an experimental cold sleep until such time as he would be needed. That time is now. He is unfrozen and put in command of the Dance Mania unit of three superb pilots, though two are rookies: Stellasta von Argyll, Malloy Chihaya, and Cloud Neelsen. Accelerated training commences, and new ships and gadgets are brought out so that they will have victory over their enemy. Unfortunately, things go awry fairly soon when M2 is captured and brain-washed by a planet which sends him out to fight for the enemy. Malloy at first refuses to fight his commander, and then does so with the conviction that he can bring him home to the Great Carrier. Bringing him home may be easy, but regaining his mind?
